The Louisiana Technology Council’s (LTC) Medical Technology Special Interest Group (SIG) will be hosting a Med Tuesday on February 8th at the Louisiana Emerging Technology Center on LSU’s Campus, in Baton Rouge, LA. MD Technologies Inc’s, Tiffanie Lyon, is the Co-Chair of this new and exciting SIG.

The event will take place from 5:30PM to 7:30PM with light food and drinks provided.

We will have a tour of the facility and view one of its labs. There will be a presentation by Dr. Ken Eilertsen of NuPotential, a company currently in the incubator. Dr. Eilertsen will give us great insight as to what his company provides to medical research and industry. This event will show what great companies and research is being done right here in Louisiana! Louisiana Technology Council and MD Technologies Inc. Join Forces to Announce Medical Technology Special Interest Group

The Louisiana Technology Council, East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce and MD Technologies Inc. kicked off a new medical technology special interest group to engage professionals from around the state about the growing medical technology industry. This was the first of many networking/informational meetings planned for the coming months.

The special interest group will provide valuable support, connections and information to the Medical Industry of Louisiana. Interested persons are invited to attend the interest group kick off event on November 9 at 5:30pm at the Holiday Inn Slidell. The event is free and registration is available at http://www.ltc-la.org/.

Tiffanie Lyon, Business Development Manager of MD Technologies, spoke to the group. “The medical technology special interest group is a great step for the medical technology industry in Louisiana,” Lyon said. “Doctors, medical providers and medical technology specialists will now have a resource to share information.” Ms. Lyon is a 20-year veteran salesperson, author and professional speaker/trainer.
